miniLUK Math and Basic Geometry Pack

To be used with miniLUK Controller, miniLUK Math and Basic Geometry Pack includes:
  • Count to 6
  • Count to 10
  • Basic Geometry and More

These 3 wordbooks provide exercises in two major areas of math: arithmetic and geometry. The vivid picture-text supports and motivates children to learn independently in a fun and interesting way. Children practice addition and subtraction up to the number 10 in various ways, and in addition acquire basic concepts of geometry including shapes, symmetry, patterns, and spatial relationships.

There are 36 puzzles with a total of 432 challenging exercises in this 3-workbook set!

More About the LUK Learning System:

    miniLUK Brain Training
The miniLUK Brain Training series is similar to the Bambino Luk but is designed for an older child. Its controller board has twelve tiles in a high-quality plastic case with a transparent lid. These tiles are numbered from "1" to "12" and the activities are much more challenging. When children finish each exercise, they can check to see if the unique symmetric pattern on the back of the controller matches the one on the page.

    Thinking Skills For Ages 6-8
The miniLUK Brain Training collections include workbook sets covering memorization, concentration, visual perception, logical thinking, linguistic skills, and basic arithmetic. For ages six to eight; produced by a secular company so some of the pages may not be suitable for your children.

    Brain Challenger
The miniLUK Advanced Brain Challenger features complex brain challenges in a variety of workbooks. This series focuses on visual perception ability, higher order thinking skills, and spatial relationships. All exercises begin easy but steadily climb from basic to more advanced and grueling, which is just what this age group is looking for.

Please note: The miniLUK Starter Pack is required but not included in this set.

Great add on to the MiniLUK! October 12, 2010
Reviewer: Misty Marr from Buckeye, AZ United States
This is a great set to add on to your MiniLUK.  THis is a fun way for your child to practice and review their basic math facts!   Two of the books have addition and subtraction with numbers up to 10, an easier book and a harder book, so you can start slow and work up.  Then you have the geometry book.  THis one feels much more like a game, yet it still is very much working your child's brain and helping them develop a good math foundation. Whether your child is struggling with math or they breeze right through it, this will work for them.  It is at an early 1st grade level.

We have bought many things through Timberdoodle, but your thinking games are the best!  Our current favorite is the new Mini Luk Brain Olympics.  My first grader is doing this in our homeschool, but many of the activities have been fun for Dad and the teenagers in the family to do!
