Famous Figures of the Civil War
Now children ages six to twelve years old can join the battle for liberty and make movable paper cut-out action figures of courageous men and women of the American Civil War.

Famous Figures of the Civil War: Movable Paper Figures to Cut, Color, and Assemble, by Cathy Diez-Luckie, allows children to perform their own historical reenactments or create new stories using ten of the most important figures of the Civil War. Figures include Abraham Lincoln, Clara Barton, a Confederate soldier, Frederick Douglass, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Harriet Tubman, Robert E. Lee, Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson, Ulysses S. Grant, and a Union soldier.

Meticulous illustrations are based on authentic paintings and photographs. Each character comes in easy-to-assemble colored and colorable versions printed on heavy card stock with perforated pages for easy removal. A letter key is printed on the back of each figure for easy assembly.

Includes the following ten historical figures in full color and black and white:
  • Abraham Lincoln
  • Clara Barton
  • Confederate Soldier
  • Frederick Douglass
  • Harriet Beecher Stowe
  • Harriet Tubman
  • Robert E. Lee
  • Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson
  • Ulysses S. Grant
  • Union Soldier

This is simply brilliant. I have to say that this is just the frosting on the cake of fun homeschool history. Its so nice to put the books down and just make something! plus i think it really helped bring the characters to life. Its always great when you can turn a very auditory subject into a visual AND kinesthetic one. I wish i could give this product more stars than 5, because it is truly stellar. you will NOT be disappointed. I hope to buy the others as time and finances permit.
