Electronics Impacts Each of Us
No matter how you live, electronics impacts the lives of your entire family. Barely a hundred years old, electronics has progressed at a breath-taking pace, so much so that it is hard to fathom a future devoid of it.

Perfect Kit for Beginning Circuit Builders
Because a fundamental knowledge of electronics is no longer optional for children today, Electronics Learning Circuits is the perfect kit for beginning circuit builders. With 55 components in this Parent's Choice award-winner, your child will be able to conduct over 70 child-friendly experiments in a safe and simple way.

Innovative Snap Design Ideal Even for Young Children
Children and parents alike will find Learning Circuits' innovative snap-together electric building blocks much less intimidating than the delicate components common in other electronics kits. The Learning Circuits blocks are brightly colored and have unique shapes, so it is easy to follow the assembly diagrams. And the circuit symbols are printed directly on the blocks so that even the youngest child can become familiar with circuit diagrams.

Clear Manual with a Wealth of Information
Electronics Learning Circuits' colorful experiment manual not only illustrates exactly how to configure the blocks, but also includes a wealth of scientific information. Beginning readers may find that detailed verbiage a bit overwhelming, but the explanations are quite clear so an older sibling or parent can easily clarify the science behind each circuit that is built.

Wide Range of Electronic Projects
With projects such as an alternating blinker, a police siren, an ambulance siren, an alarm system, a light detector, a conductivity tester, a rain warning system and so much more, your child can be prepared for his future in the world of electronics.
  • capacitors, resistors, transistors, LEDs (light emitting diodes), a phototransistor, a switch, 30 contact blocks, cable blocks, a battery holder, a speaker, and a sound integrated circuit
  • The 64-page, full-color experiment manual
  • 70 circuit building experiments with easy-to-follow diagrams

  • You can see the sample pages and the experiment manual here.

I'm excited to do this every day! November 7, 2013

My 10-year-old says that this is a fun and exciting kit. He looks forward to it each day. Sometimes my husband has to provide a little more background information, since he understands circuits, and I don't, but he says that the experiment booklet is very informative. He says he wishes the components were see-through so that you could see the connections, insulators, resistors, etc., which would make it easier for kids to transition to higher level circuits. My son says that the booklet is easy to follow, but the component pieces are sometimes physically hard to put together. All in all, I think it has been a good buy. Great hands-on education for the kinesthetic and tactile kid!

My son loves these! May 31, 2012

My son received these Electronic Learning Circuits recently for his birthday. He has played with them everyday since! He just turned 6 years old, but he has been able to do some of the simpler experiments on his on, which he really likes. He has also enjoyed doing some of the more difficult ones with his daddy. I like that the instruction book tells you why it does or does not work, not just how to connect the circuits to make it work. I also enjoy the smile on my sons face when he connects everything appropriately and sees (or hears) the end result. The only negative I see so far is trying to keep up with all of the small pieces.

A must have for science! May 31, 2012

While I was excited to get this kit in the mail, I was also a bit leery of little parts being lost or vacuumed up. That has not been the case at all. The parts are actually not that small, and while there are some smaller pieces, they are all well sized and very user friendly. The manual is wonderful and clearly spells out what each piece is and does. We have tried two of the experiments and still have 71 to go. My kids are completely enthralled when we get out the circuits and are starting to be able to explain what piece does what and why without having to refer to the manual. Being able to actually see what is making a light go on or making a sound helps my kids understand concepts that go beyond just circuits. This is already starting to be one of our favorite parts of our curriculum! It is a great to use with kids of all ages!
