Grammar and Punctuation Practice
Editor in Chief improves your child's grammar, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and attention to detail using a standards-based thinking approach rather than drill and practice. This effective method teaches students to carefully analyze and edit stories that contain errors in writing mechanics and story details.

The stories involve mixed-skills practice, starting with easier errors and becoming more challenging as students become adept at the editing process.

Students identify and circle errors in each story. They then insert, modify, or delete punctuation, words, and short phrases to make corrections. An editing checklist and annotated guide to grammar, usage, and punctuation are provided to help focus students' thinking and allow them to match their answers to applicable rules.

Detailed answers are also included.

I was unsure how comprehensive these workbooks would be, and I have been pleasantly surprised. The books are fun, engaging, and very thorough, My kids actually enjoy doing the lessons and reading the different stories each day.

Great review workbook to have December 31, 2013
Reviewer: katie.smithwilson
This workbook is a great review of things they have learned and it has helped me with teaching some of the things my son missed out on when he was in public school with the way it teaches and explains each one. He is picking up on so much that he missed and I can notice a better attitude towards reading and spelling! Thanks for a great product

Editor in Chief Beginning 2 Grades 3-4 October 7, 2013
Reviewer: Stasia M.
I purchased Editor in Chief Beginning 2 for Grades 3-4 for my 9 year old son. I wanted a different way of going over parts of speech with him. He was so bored with our past curriculum. I found that Editor in Chief is good for reviewing and finding exactly what areas my son needs to work on. I have already recommended the Editor in Chief series to friends. I have not been disappointed with The Critical Thinking Co.

Perfect addition to Language Arts May 31, 2012
Reviewer: Christine
Our daughter loves finding and sharing mistakes in books so we knew this book was made for her! The lessons are simple and help enforce grammar. It gives a story with a multiple choice follow up to find the mistakes. There is also a day for rewriting paragraphs which also helps with penmanship, a plus! Would buy again.
