bambinoLUK Critical Thinking Pack 1

To be used with bambinoLUK Controller, bambinoLUK Critical Thinking Pack 1 includes:
  • Transportation and Traffic Signs
  • Think and Associate
  • Identify and Relate

Critical thinking is a process consisting of analysis and evaluation in order to solve problems and to make decisions. Exercises in these workbooks nurture young children's essential abilities to sort, associate, interrelate, combine, and sequence.

There are thirty-three puzzles with a total of 396 illustrations, and 198 exercises, in this three-workbook set!

More About the LUK Learning System:

    Hands-On Thinking Skills Program
Young children are almost always hands-on learners. That is why your child picks up and touches everything. It may look destructive, but it is how God has programmed him to learn. And because at this age your child will learn more easily using this preferred learning style, we recommend adding a hands-on thinking program to any written curriculum, to add balance and success.

    Comprehensive Program for Ages 3-5
For this age group, the most comprehensive program is the bambinoLUK. The LUK learning system has been used in over fifty countries for more than forty years. New to the LUK line is the bambinoLUK. Intended to maximize children's learning, it contains one easy-to-operate controller with six tiles housed in a transparent case and a number of different workbook sets targeting memorization, concentration, visual perception, logical thinking, linguistic skills, and basic arithmetic.

    Self-Correcting
The six large and sturdy tiles have a familiar picture symbol on one side and a colorful dotted pattern on the back. The decision to use symbols instead of numbers allows even very young children to play. When your child finishes the exercises in one of the books, he closes the lid and flips the controller. The colorful dotted pattern on the back will let him know if his answers were right.

    Also Builds Fine Motor Skills
Because this program requires the repeated handling of tiles, your child's fine motor skills are strengthened and his eye-hand and brain coordination are greatly enhanced. For ages three to five, produced by a secular company, so some of the pages may not be suitable for your children.

New Set for Ages 2-5 and Special Needs
In Special bambinoLUK, the pace is even gentler than the classic bambinoLUK, allowing both toddlers and older children with special needs immediate success.

Please note: The bambinoLUK Starter Pack is required but not included in this set.

Another outstanding component of Timberdoodle's Pre-K Curriculum!

Good for Older Preschool January 14, 2013
    Reviewer: Texas Mom
I think the ages for this pack needs to be a 4-5 year old pack. Unless you have a very calm and studious 3 year old they are going to be frustrated and confused by this activity. I love that it is hands on- but the pictures on the tiles are really confusing. I think my son would have done better if they were numbers or even letters. The pictures for him confuse and frustrate as he tries to match the picture of the tile to the bottom sheet if there is a relation like to a house, car, or flower. We have this put up and hopefully we will have better luck in another 6 months.

Critical Thinking Pack October 8, 2010
Reviewer: Misty Marr from Buckeye, AZ United States
This set is a middle of the road set, when it comes to difficulty.  It is a good bridge from the easier ones to the harder sets.  They get to match things like a child wearing glasses with the glasses, a quantity of items with a dice of the same number, a picture of animals with a drawing of the animal, people with the shoes that match their outfit, a shoe with its foot print.  There are also some puzzles with the pieces scrambles, so they have to figure out witch square represents each part of the picture.  THis is also one of my favorite sets.

my 3 yo loves this! August 29, 2009
Reviewer: April Ann Wofford from Bicknell, IN United States
This is my 3 yo's "school" while I help my older son. She can do it all herself and loves it. She is not challenged by the activities though. It does not seem to bother her. I need to get more books!! Keeps her busy for quite awhile.

Reviewer: Charlotte S. from Newburgh, IN
My 4 year old enjoys her Bambino Luk - the puzzle solving, the tactile use of tiles, and the self-checking feature.  We plan on ordering more books in the series!  Best product I've ever used for improving critical thinking skills!

Worth every penny! August 29, 2009
    Reviewer: Gen from Singapore
I use this product to train my 1.5 yrs old son to focus. He is very active but over time, he's able to sit for a few minutes without being distracted. My 3.5 yrs old son enjoys all the the activities in the book set. Have recommended friends to buy this. Worth every penny!
