ZOOB Challenge
With a "ball & socket" connection system that snaps, clicks, and pops together, ZOOB has always been one of the most versatile building sets on the market. Now ZOOB Challenge asks your children to solve more than twenty-five problems that employ the STEM skills educators have targeted as essential. From building a zip-line or trampoline to designing a catapult, your children will use ZOOB pieces and an assortment of other included materials to invent contraptions that answer the requirements and objectives as directed on the challenge card. Unravel one challenge a week and watch their science, technology, engineering, and math skills grow.
ZOOB is an acronym for zoology, ontology, ontogeny, and botany, and is one of the most versatile building sets currently on the market. With a "ball & socket" connection system, the five unique ZOOB pieces fit together in twenty different ways. Needing neither nuts nor bolts, ZOOB is intuitive, easy-to-use, and with a bit of creativity can model nearly anything. However, it excels in mimicking things that move, including octopuses, giraffes, and people.

Made of sturdy plastic in bright colors, all ZOOB pieces come with a free lifetime replacement offer.

ZOOB Challenge features: 175 ZOOB pieces, string, four wheels with axles and rubber tires, a high-bounce ball, twenty-four rubber bands, two round foam platforms, twenty-six challenge cards based on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) skills, nine bonus challenges, and five instruction guides for building forty creations.

My nine year old son March 19, 2015

My nine year old son chose this to spend his birthday money on. We have been so pleased with this set! He had been spending as much time as he was allowed on the computer, but when he got the Zoob set, he was busy with it for hours and hours, doing whatever came to mind, challenges, and following patterns. For the past two weeks, he's played with it almost daily. Other members of the family and friends have also been drawn in. This was such a good price compared to other building sets too.

Love these!! August 18, 2014

My seven and nine year old daughters Love these! Legos don't hold their interest at all, but something about the versatility and movable joints make these so much fun! They will spend hours every week diving into their own little world. Sometimes it's buildings, or bridges, and sometimes they make furniture or "creatures" which then become their "babies".So much fun and creativity in one box!

zoob challenge May 29, 2014

As a mom of 4 boys this looked like something that would get a lot of use. Something we could use weekly to sharpen skills, and repeat with younger ones when they got older. They all love it and the endless possibilities. Even my husband plays with them! It's a great bonding tool.

We purchased this as a gift for our 12-year old grandson who is a Lego enthusiast. Zoob Challenge was a real "hit," not only for the recipient, but also younger siblings.

Very pleased with product. My grandson has been making his own creations. Since this is a new toy, he hasn't even begun trying all the things he can create.
