Children Love to Learn and Create
Children love to learn and love to create. What's New? What’s Missing? What’s Different? combines those two delights into one sure-to-please workbook for early learners.

Discerning Differences and Responding Creatively
From drawing different pillows under napping cats, to finding the unusual flamingos in the flock, even completing the parts of the dogs that are missing, What's New? What’s Missing? What’s Different? inspires your young learners to discern both broad and subtle differences and respond creatively. What's New? What’s Missing? What’s Different? will strengthen your child’s focus and attention to detail in an engaging, mind-stretching manner.

We Couldn’t Resist Offering This Title
Note: If you’re as picky as we are, a couple of the pages in What’s New? What’s Missing? What’s Different? will not appeal to you. Overall, however, we found this to be such an excellent book that we couldn’t resist offering it to you.

Teaches attention to detail July 1, 2015
    Reviewer: C.K.
This book was a little difficult for my six year old. We put it away for awhile. It is great for teaching kids to notice small differences which is essential to learning to read. Perseverance is also developed as the exercises are not easy; they require an attention span. It also attacks the deadly perfectionism that holds some students back by asking them to reproduce the drawings in the book. Obviously a six or seven year old's drawings are not going to be identical to those in the book so it encourages the children to learn that talents are developed with practice.

Everyone in the house picks October 3, 2014

Everyone in the house picks this book up and works on pages. Of course no writing so the 1st grader can do the writing. A good thinking book.

My son loves this workbook! It is a nice big size with heavy weight pages that make it feel like he is doing something "special."

    Reviewer: Jessica
I got this for my 6 year old son and he loves it. Its so fun to see him find what is missing or different. His eyes really light up! This engages him and its an activity he looks forward to doing. Its age appropriate and a great addition to our 1st grade curriculum.
