Wedgits truly are a multi-age toy. I ordered a set for my three year-old and my five year old wanted one too. I find my ten and twelve year-olds fascinated by them as well. I must admit that I, myself, have been caught seeing what kind of structures I can create. They are a very unique and fun building toy.

Perfect gift for any aged child |

I purchased a two pack of the Wedgit beginners kit product to give to my youngest 2 children something to play with while I was reading aloud to all four children. (The older two usually drew pictures with their Prismacolor pencils during reading.) At that time, my children's ages were 14, 12 1/2, 6 and 2. The younger two began to play while I read aloud and before I knew it, the older two were on the floor playing also. I even heard the protest of my 6 year old as she exclaimed, "Mommy, I can't play with my new Wedgits, Ashley (12-1/2 year old) has it!" I knew then I was on to something great. Of course, we had to purchase two more sets ( for the teens) and then get the extra pieces. It's the perfect birthday gift for any age child(2 and older) and I highly recommend it to others!
