Most children are immediately drawn to the sturdy plastic pieces and eagerly explore the various stacking, nesting, and balancing patterns. With your assistance, they will see the relationships between horizontal and vertical construction. And when they run out of their own designs, they can take advantage of the 48 design cards included. From simple recognition of the pieces to complex designs, the design cards are grouped into four graduated building levels. Each level's growing complexity provides a continual challenge to your child's reasoning and manipulative skills. The front side of each design card offers a color picture of the design, while the back side offers a detailed black-and-white pictorial listing of what is required to build the design. These configurations will challenge your children's dexterity as well as their creative thinking  skills. I guarantee you will soon want more November 5, 2008 Reviewer: Cheryl B. from Enumclaw, WA   These are the greatest toys!  Whenever they are out at our house, people (children and adults) are drawn to them as if to a magnet.  My family never gets tired of finding new things to build.  Don't just buy one set.  I guarantee you will soon want more.  (I had to place a second emergency order!) Invaluable for stimulating creativity!! November 5, 2008 Reviewer: Susanne S. from Murrieta, CA   What an absolutely wonderful toy!  When our son was three we would build the Wedgit constructions with him.  He is now six and sits down with the cards and can build every model.  He loves them so much he has made numerous, creative models on his own.  This is invaluable for stimulating his creativity and various skills, and because he can build so many exciting constructions on his own it allows me to focus on my other homeschool students' needs while my youngest is creatively engaged! Our whole family enjoys these!! November 5, 2008 Reviewer: Carolyn S. from Mystic, CT   We love Wedgits!  Children of all ages can build and create with them.  At the simplest level, they can be stacked into interesting towers.  Older children and adults will realize that you can also slide and wedge pieces together to make structures that stay together without the help of gravity.  The included base is especially useful for younger children, because it makes their towers more stable.  Our whole family enjoys these, and we often end up with visitors (both adults and children) on the floor playing with them.  We did end up buying more sets to complement the 20-piece tote, but this one is a very good start, especially since it includes the base. Engaging for ALL ages!! October 31, 2008 Reviewer: Julie S. from Vancouver, WA   The product says for kids 1-99 and that is certainly the case, these are fantastic.  We have never had a kid or adult at our house who did not find them engaging.  Wedgits are one of the few toys you could hang onto for the grandkids.
