Too many arts and crafts projects have little appeal for the men-to-be among us, which is a pity for busy moms looking for an alternative to the typical "seek and destroy" maneuvers that occur on rainy days. The TwigJig may just change that. Generations of boys have built countless projects from toothpicks, but never has there been such an ideal method to do so.

One of the more time-consuming and tedious tasks of toothpick construction was cutting the toothpicks to the right lengths. The TwigJig includes a TwigTrimmer that trims the ends and cuts the toothpicks to any one of three different lengths. Then using the �jig� your boys position the toothpicks precisely for gluing into trusses. Holding the trusses together for gluing during project construction can be difficult. The TwigClips were designed to aid the construction process by securely clamping the trusses together. Now your sons can build complex, remarkably striking designs from toothpicks simply and easily. The TwigJig Starter Kit includes everything your son needs to create impressive works of art.

Great construction project!	February 19, 2009

I bought this for my 14yo son for Christmas and he has really enjoyed it. I wasn't sure if the forms would work as well as they do in the video but they do! You can make some amazing structures with this. My son has made two bridges and a tower. I only wish there was booklet of projects that came with the kit. He just made his designs up as he went (which is probably better for him in the long run :) ). I see above where it says the kit comes with plans for a bridge but I don't think we got that with our kit - maybe it is a new addition? This kit is well worth the money and I highly recommend it!
