Admit it, unless geography is your passion, the need to remember which is longitude and which is latitude has long since faded. Realizing that, The Ultimate Geography... begins with a wonderful refresher course, not because the terms have changed much since grade school, but because the perspective has. It is also brimming with grade-appropriate lesson plans, games, and activities, including over 100 pages of valuable reproducibles.

In addition, The Ultimate Geography... suggests appropriate tools for teaching geography and how to teach geography through unit studies, which is a more natural approach. And because sometimes situations call for a more intense approach to geography, The Ultimate Geography... also contains a "Pure Geography" section with grade-appropriate scope and sequences. Whatever your approach, The Ultimate Geography and Timeline Guide could be the only book you will need to teach geography for grades K - 12, and at less than $4.00 a year that is a great value!

For this review, this book was used in conjunction with playing 10 Days in the USA game.

We printed off the pages out of the Ultimate Geography and Timeline Book – referencing the blank states as we played. Then, using colored pencils we divided off the Regions mentioned in the book.
