I found the race to the South Pole very interesting!  There were a lot of facts that I hadn't heard before.  This book will give your older children a jump start to researching a number of different areas.  Did you know that it could get down to -119 degrees.  There is a lot of great scientific information about the north and south pole that is very interesting. This book will teach your child more than just history.

I'm so glad I took the plunge and ordered it July 29, 2009

...I bought the historical graphic novels as a way to get my middle schooler into reading something somewhat educational. =D  I didn't hand them to him, I told him they were mine.  He could read the Tintin, but I was going to read these historical ones first.  Muhahahaha.  Of course, he started sneaking them....and enjoying them.... =D =D

So anyway, we've been having just a delightful time with the shipment of books.  I'm so very impressed with your company.  The confirmation email came immediately, the books were shipped out very quickly, and arrived in absolutely excellent condition.   Thank you so very much.
