This is an interesting book of the life of Julius Caesar.  This is definitely not for younger children, and there is a lot of stuff about the gods of Rome.  Plus mention of unfaithfulness in marriage, divorce and remarriages. There is also brutality in war and pictures of things like severed heads.  My children won't be reading this for a number of years.  There is some good maps and historical information in the book.

I'm so glad I took the plunge and ordered it July 29, 2009

...I bought the historical graphic novels as a way to get my middle schooler into reading something somewhat educational. =D  I didn't hand them to him, I told him they were mine.  He could read the Tintin, but I was going to read these historical ones first.  Muhahahaha.  Of course, he started sneaking them....and enjoying them.... =D =D

So anyway, we've been having just a delightful time with the shipment of books.  I'm so very impressed with your company.  The confirmation email came immediately, the books were shipped out very quickly, and arrived in absolutely excellent condition.   Thank you so very much.
