We like to incorporate into our home education more than just workbooks. This puzzle is fairly hard but it does give lots of practice for memorizing the periodic table which is why we got it. Not all things can be turned into a kinesthetic learning experience but when possible it is really nice like this puzzle.

I bought this puzzle for my daughter a couple of years ago, while learning the Periotic Table. Once a week she was to complete the puzzle for bonus points. She actually ended up learning all of the elements from this puzzle which made Chemistry easier for her. Today I am purchasing another puzzle for my son, entering 9th because I know he will learn the Periotic Table before he needs to know it. I highly recommend this puzzle.

We bought this puzzle as a fun supplement for high school chemistry. What a neat way to associate a picture and not just letters or a number with the periodic table. It makes more "sense" that way.

Hands-on review of the periodic table July 6, 2013

This was a great add-on to our studies this year in Challenge B (Classical Conversations, 8th grade equivalent program). We like puzzles, and this one was challenging without being crazy, over-the-top hard.
