Doesn't flow well. January 14, 2013
Reviewer: Mama to 5
Even though my son loves all the Graphic Novel books this one didn't seem to keep his attention well and he didn't really understand what was happening. I had to stop several times and explain to him who was who and what they were doing. The story didn't seem to flow well and you have to interupt conversation to read the blocks for the "info". There are SO many boxes within boxes it also detracts from the story line and he often wonders where I am reading. That being said, the pictures are engaging and interesting and I love the concept of telling history in a fun way. I will continue to read this book with my son, I just wish it was easier to read.
