Love This Multisensory Spelling Program!
We really love this new multisensory spelling program and are convinced it will help your child become a confident, successful speller, naturally and at his own speed. And it has the research to back us up. Because Spelling You See encourages visual memory rather than rote memory, there are no weekly spelling lists or tests and very little instructor preparation is required.

Relaxed and Easy to Implement
Each daily lesson in Spelling You See uses real words presented in context within poems or informational passages. Plus each lesson is colorful, short, to the point, and fun! Did I mention we’re in love? You will be too when you discover how relaxed and easy it is to implement Spelling You See.

Instructor Handbook and Answer Keys
Instructor’s handbooks are relatively small, but packed with valuable information that will show how simple this program is and how comfortably it will fit into your daily life. Also included are answer keys and dictation material that is essential for each level.

Another outstanding component of Timberdoodle's 2017 Kindergarten Curriculum Kit!

I like learning spelling: like S-P-E-L-L. I like the stickers too. I like to trace and write the letters too.

Fantastic Product June 10, 2016

Spelling You See is an amazing program. It not only helps solidify your child's knowledge of phonetics, but it allows your child to connect reading and spelling in a whole new way. My son hates to read, but when we pull out the Spelling You See book, he gets excited, but spelling is much easier to him than reading. It didn't click with him until recently that "Hey this is just like reading". Because of this book, he now has a deeper understanding of the English language.

Amazing December 3, 2015

My 4 year old went from barely knowing letters to writing words without help in just 9 weeks. It even comes with fun stickers for completing the page. It is starting to become slightly tedious but the lessons are a short 10 minutes with great results.

Great teaching tool November 10, 2015
Reviewer: Brandi
This book is simple, yet effective. It starts out with writing letters and progresses on to writing words. It is just the right pace for my daughter and she does very well with it. I can see it building her confidence in writing since it starts off sounding out three-letter words right away and it will build up to larger words as we move along. I love that it comes with a separate laminated page showing the correct way to write each letter. This has been a great book in teaching her to write and spell.

Perfect for us... October 29, 2015
Reviewer: Sarah T.
My son is 8 and has apraxia of speech, so he has had trouble distinguishing between the different vowel sounds as well as consistent letter formation. This system has alleviated so much stress from our day, I wish I new about it years ago! This is a great phonics/writing/spelling book all rolled into one. The lessons are short (and you are encouraged to stop after ten minutes in the parent guide) so my son never feels overwhelmed and has a great sense of accomplishment every day. One sheet of the stickers wasn't usable (not cut or punched so I would have to cut them out with scissors) but he really isn't into stickers so that isn't a huge deal. The dry erase letter formation chart is a great quality and has been a handy reference. The layout is essentially the same lesson each day, with the first 30 pages including letter formation as well as dictation, then moving on to only dictation. I could see this being boring for some kids who would maybe enjoy extra puzzles or challenges but the simplicity of the work has been perfect for us.
