Work From the Solar Panel or AA Battery
Solar Vehicles Kit's special solar panel generates 1.5 volts of electricity, equivalent to an AA battery. In fact, the kit's unique cradle holds either the solar panel or an AA battery, in case you live in as sunless a state as we Washingtonians do. However if you live where rain is a special event, then you can use the Solar Vehicles' solar panel to charge up your own rechargeable AA batteries.

The 21-page color instruction book included in Solar Vehicles not only gives step-by-step instructions for assembling the six model vehicles (such as a locomotive and a twin-rotor helicopter), but also includes fascinating tidbits about the historical background of each model.
