Electronic Snap Ciruits: Snaptricity
There are many ways to teach about electricity, but none others I have found are so thorough and neatly contained in one kit. Snaptricity uses unique building blocks with snaps to build the various electrical and electromagnetic circuits in the projects.
Easy And Safe To Use
The base grid that the components snap into mimics the wall that holds the electrical wiring in your home. On that base, with the easy-to-use, modular Snap Circuits components, your child can safely build a two-way switch of electrical relays, see when a series or a parallel configuration works best in a home setting, and much more. He will also learn how to make a magnet with electricity and electricity with a magnet.
Over 70 Projects
The seventy plus projects include making a generator, an electromagnet, reed switch, water impurity detector, and electrical turntable. The colorful manual provides simple, clearly-written instructions, lots of essentials on how electricity works, and increasingly complex models. The set contains over forty parts including a voltmeter, electromagnet, motor, lamps, switches, fan, compass, and electrodes which are housed in a handy storage tray. Requires three "AA" batteries. For ages eight and up.
