Timberdoodle's review Video

Over ten years ago we bought our first case of Rush Hour games. Rush Hour became our gift of choice whenever we knew someone was hospital-bound or slated for an extended, tedious trip. Our own set has received quite a workout amusing cranky invalids, bored children, and restless teens waiting for a foal to be born. More than a game, Rush Hour was awarded the MENSA Best Mind Game 1997, in recognition of its redeeming educational value. Easy to learn, yet very challenging at the expert level, Rush Hour teaches problem-solving skills in a creative way. The new Rush Hour Ultimate Collector's Edition, with vehicles approximately twice the size of the original version, challenges each player to free his shiny red car from the gridlock of other autos and trucks, going out the gate and down the ramp. Thankfully, each card comes with the solution on the back. The 12" x 12" game board has a slide-away drawer to store cards, parking spaces for the cars and trucks, a billboard to hold the card being played, and an exit ramp. Rush Hour Ultimate Collector's Edition, with 155 challenges across five difficulty levels, is the best version of this game yet.

We really like Rush Hour.  It has been a great hands on tool to use when children take road trips or need some alone time away while mom works with the other children in the home.

Excellent game September 29, 2008
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Wibaux
My 8 year old son loves this game. He played the smaller edition, at a friend's house, and thought it was a lot of fun. When we opened the box and he saw this edition he could hardly contain his excitement! It was bought mainly as a critical thinking game for him to play alone and it works wonderfully for that. My 13 year old daughter, husband, and I all think it's an excellent game also.
