What Our Customers Have To Say

    Cortney Z.

The book is thorough but ambitious to finish in 1 year In my opinion. My children found it tedious.

    Needs extra planning

    Tricia

I want to start with a disclaimer: I love the book as a whole and would recommend it as a precursor to a more formal language arts. The topics are grouped together, so when you hit any topic there are several pages in a row and then it's never touched again. I had to go through and figure out a specific plan so that we'd get a nice mix each week. The spelling pages are more suitable to sight words than phonics.

    Nice Book

    Sheri

We have enjoyed this book as a part of our curriculum. It offers a variety of different quality activities to keep young learners engaged and not bored. I will admit the size of the book is a little overwhelming for our little one but once she realized the activities inside were fun she was okay. Good quality paper that doesn't easily tear and shred in little hands. The colors on each page help to keep her interested in the lesson. We would definitely use the next book in the series and recommend this to others.

We love this workbook. My second grader usually gives me trouble with school work but he actually enjoys this one!

    Very user friendly

    LOVE LANGUAGE SMARTS

    Jessica

Again, I love this! I am not an English major nor even close and I never enjoyed it. I was floundering at what to do to teach language arts. This saved me! It's easy to follow and understand. There is more than one page devoted to each section for full understanding. The editor in chief pages help reiterate lessons learned.

    Easy to use!

    MandyJHoffman

This curriculum is bright and user friendly. My son has done well with it. While it's simple both in approach, appearance, directions, etc, it lays a great foundation. As one who preferred textbooks, this was a great option without being crazy hard for me to teach. Most of it my son could do on his own even. But there were some hard pages that he struggled with that seemed slightly out of place as they were harder than most of the book. The only thing I didn't not like was the lack of daily review. It covers a topic and then moves on, not coming back to it again for some time and by then it was like having to re-teach it at times. Next year I plan to use Language Lessons.

    Engagingly Colorful!

    Melissa W.

I was impressed by how colorful and engaging this book is. Language Arts is not our son's favorite but this book's layout, colors, scope and sequence are perfect for him! I've not seen such a colorful Language Arts book before and it has served as a wonderful addition to his Language Arts portion of his curriculum.

    A good resource

    Kimberly I.

This is a good resource to supplement a language curriculum. I would not use it as a stand alone. It has colorful pictures, and easy to use pages.

    I love this book!

    pdyoung1

I can't wait to get to this book! We are almost ready! My guy has a few issues since birth, stroke, CP, Aspergers, among others. I've had to try out all kinds of curriculum, but this one works! Thank you!
