Timberdoodle's review   Exago is the newest family strategy game and one of the few that allows up to six players. The rules are short and sweet, if you understand Tic Tac Toe, you know how to play Exago. Or not! Because you'll quickly discover that Exago is more than a- line-them-up-in-row game. Played on a hexagonal board, with wonderfully large and thick transparent plastic tiles in a rainbow of colors, each player puts one of his colored hexagonal tiles on the board, always adjacent to any other tile. When all his tiles are on the board, he is allowed to move a tile of his own color to another position. Now the actual strategy starts. If a group of colored tiles is cut off due to moving a tile, all isolated tiles are return to their respective owners, ouch! If your family includes younger, less experienced players, you can level the playing field by removing one or more tiles from the veteran players, which will totally change the dynamics of the game. The rules are simple, the game is lovely and the strategy will have your whole family playing Exago over and over again. For 2-6 players, ages 7+.
