    Awesome Review November 28, 2012
    Reviewer: Amy
This book is designed to be a review/refresher of grammar. It is perfect for that. Most lessons have two sentences with grammar, spelling, and/or punctuation errors. The student is expected to re-write the corrected sentences. In addition, there are 3 questions about different grammar concepts: direct objects, indirect objections, predicates, subordinate clauses, antecedents, prepositions, etc. There are five lessons for each week. Each daily lesson takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. If, like my family, you get to a concept you do not remember, you will have to go look it up. (e.g. The difference between transitive and intransitive verbs.) The book does not explain any grammar concepts. This might be a deal breaker for some. I specifically wanted a refresher, so it is perfect for my kids as they were tired of studying grammar rules. The book does include an answer key in the back. It would be easy to use the book for more than one student if the student writes his/her answers on a separate sheet of paper. I would recommend this book for any student that needs grammar review without needing to re-study the concepts and rules. I think this book would also be good for larger families because of the simple layout and short lessons.

Great complement to our grammar lessons September 9, 2012

We use the DLR every day. I agree with the other reviewer that it complements the Easy Grammar series well. Having just the few questions every day to re-enforce what we learned helps with retention. I have quite a few books from the Evan Moor daily series and love them all.

Really enjoy this product! June 2, 2011
Reviewer: Ladonna Colton from Wilton, CA United States
Very happy with this product!  This is a great complement to the Easy Grammar series. It is great everyday WRITING practice for the reluctant writer. Easy, manageable portions of daily writing/editing. Great for this grade level. Highly recommended! If you have a prolific writer this may be unnecessary in your home, but a painless resource for practice for the reluctant writer! :)
