Heavy Duty Leather-Look Vinyl Portfolio It isn't the heavy-duty, stitched leather-look vinyl portfolio, even though we love the idea that when it snaps closed it holds all of the supplies tightly inside. 15 Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils Nor is it the inclusion of 12 Prismacolor Premier colored pencils, though these superior pencils have high-quality pigments for rich color saturation; soft, thick cores for smooth color laydown; and thick leads that resist breakage. First-Class Drawing Paper Neither is it the first-class, twelve-sheet, 8 x 5-3/4 inch pad of drawing paper that is included, even if that does allow the artist to get up and running immediately. Pencil Sharpener, Pen Loop, Card Pocket It's not even the aluminum pencil sharpener, so necessary for trouble-free sharpening; the extra loop inside of the folio to carry along a drawing pen; or the little pocket inside for carrying the business cards that every aspiring artist should have. prismacolor is unbeatable October 5, 2009 Reviewer: Janine Condi from Penacook, NH United States   I've been using Prismacolor pencils for over 20 years, and I really think they are the best pencils on the market.  Their blending capabilities are superb, as is the selection of available colors.  Because the lead is so soft, it is easy to create varying depths of color using a single pencil.  I've used a wide variety of Prismacolor products and find them all to be of superior quality.  I love the fact that my 9 year old son is using the same pencils I use, and loving them too.  If you are looking for professional quality art supplies, you won't be disappointed in these pencils. You can FEEL the quality! October 5, 2009 Reviewer: Tracy G. from McKenna, WA   These colored pencils are incredible!  We don't even use crayons or any other brand of colored pencils--they are just not worthy of our children's precious art!  We are on our second boxed set (48 piece) and are looking forward to replacing it with another when this set gets too short.  These pencils are well worth the price!  You can FEEL the quality!
