Perfect for Homeschoolers
Similar in format to Integrated Physics & Chemistry, this college preparatory course consists of six chapters of text and six companion student activity books. The very design of the texts and activity books enables a home-taught student to absorb the material without the need of any supplemental materials or labs.

Build's a Strong Foundation for College Studies
Principles, Theories & Precepts of Biology is intended to satisfy most state requirements for one high-school biology transcript credit. Students who complete this course will have a strong foundation for college studies in science and theories about the origin of life. The publisher takes a refreshingly bold approach by challenging popular theories using the scientific method, application of DNA, and recent research to point out strengths and weaknesses of theories.

Does Not Require Labs or Supplemental Materials
Lab experiences are not necessary to fulfill the requirements of this course, making this an ideal program for most home-taught students. Principles, Theories & Precepts of Biology includes six soft-cover 8 1/2" by 11" textbooks and six companion student activity books and is designed for one high-school transcript credit. Included is a Teacher's Resource Kit with all the answers, quizzes, and tests both on loose sheets of paper and on a CD.

Exciting New Addition
We are very excited about the addition of QR-Code YouTube videos in The Principles, Theories, and Precepts of Biology. Students simply use their smartphones to activate videos that enhance understanding of printed pages. This digitally-enhanced curriculum engages students while satisfying many state requirements for students to experience laboratory studies for transcript credit.

    Great program! January 14, 2013

I've been using this with my not-so-scientifically-inclined-but-needs-a basic-grasp-of-Biology 11th grader. Perfect choice! He's finding it to be user-friendly and is grasping the concepts. He rarely needs any assistance from me. There's no fluff to wade through, so lessons can be completed in a reasonable amount of time. I'm totally pleased with this purchase and plan to save the curriculum for use with my younger children.

We love this curriculum October 3, 2011
Reviewer: Laureen Eichelberger from N. Huntingdon, PA United States
We completed this curriculum last year and are following up with the Anatomy course as well.  It has been a great choice for a child that is not "in love" with science in any way, shape, or form! It is easy to use, it presents the facts of the topic clearly, and is presented in a format that self study is all that is needed.  We'd highly recommend this to a student who struggles with other detailed texts.
