Pizarro and the Incas October 26, 2010

It was interesting to see how Pizarro was inspired by Columbus.  I didn't realize that their lives overlapped and that these events were in such a short time frame.  This is a bloody book about ruthless greedy men, determined to unjustly take authority and land that didn't belong to them.  And such ruthless men were not without enemies.  This was an interesting portrayal of how South America was conquered.

I'm so glad I took the plunge and ordered it July 29, 2009

...I bought the historical graphic novels as a way to get my middle schooler into reading something somewhat educational. =D  I didn't hand them to him, I told him they were mine.  He could read the Tintin, but I was going to read these historical ones first.  Muhahahaha.  Of course, he started sneaking them....and enjoying them.... =D =D

So anyway, we've been having just a delightful time with the shipment of books.  I'm so very impressed with your company.  The confirmation email came immediately, the books were shipped out very quickly, and arrived in absolutely excellent condition.   Thank you so very much.
