Making Crafts With Nature’s Art Box
Dieters are familiar with eating food as close as possible to how God created it. Whether it is a goal of eating foods that are comprised of five items or less, or even eating only foods that have no labels, dieters are always up for a challenge. So let us challenge you this summer. Instead of Popsicle sticks and googly eyes, why not set aside a portion of your summer craft time to making crafts from objects created only by God? With Nature's Art Box you can.

Change the Way Your Child Views Nature
Summer is an ideal time to reintroduce your scholarly students to the great outdoors, teeming with twigs, vines, pine cones, flowers, leaves, rocks, moss, feathers and more. Creating with natural resources will forever change the way your child views nature.

Pine Cone Porcupines and Funny-face Flowers
Pinecones will be transformed into porcupines, and flowers will become funny faces. More than 60 projects include necklaces, gift wrap, painted stones, a chess set, and even an okra pod canoe with people. Activities are rated by level of difficulty, but all have easy-to-follow instructions. Line drawings and delightful ink-and-watercolor pictures illustrate the projects.

A Couple of Caveats
Each chapter includes information about historical and ethnic uses for the finished projects, and the secular, naturalist leaning of Nature's Art Box becomes noticeable in some of the African- and Native American-based crafts. However, we are confident that the creative adults in your family will know how to morph a sacred Navajo sand painting into a lovely geometric design with subtle beauty and texture. Nature's Art Box offers over 60 projects kids will love to make, using materials they can find just outside. However, since many crafts involve some sort of adhesive, you are not a failure if the entire project can not be completed without household items. The goal is to be as natural as possible.
Projects include:
Vine Wreath, Vine-and-twig Ball, Spanish Moss House, Gourd Doll, Bean Mosaic, Clay Pot, Sand Painting, Shell Candles, Greeting Cards, Nature Journal, Sachets, African Design, Dried-Flower Bouquet, Heart Canvas Bag, Flower Headband, Potato Stamp Gift Wrap, Fern Stencil Box, Clay Fossil, and many more

This is a fun art book that helps you imagine fun art projects that can be created from all of those fun nature items you collect on your nature walks. It has ideas that will get your artistic juices flowing and your kids will see God's world through exciting new ways as they do their own creating with their nature items. We loved it.
