My last son just started on these books and he loves them. Even on non-school days he wants to do his math. My other sons liked this program fairly well. They weren't as excited about it as my youngest son but they liked it better than some of the other programs we tried. I have even learned some new things from the Lab Sheet Annotations!

Miquon is a simple but thorough math program for grades 1-3. There is not a lot of repetition; so, if your child easily grasps mathematical concepts, this program moves along fast and keeps math interesting. My son went to Saxon 76 in 4th grade after completing the Miquon series. My son is now in the 8th grade and still loves and excels in math. Miquon gave him a good start.

Miquon Math is fun and easy to use. It teaches math concepts very systematically and in small bite increments. My child hardly needs me to guide him at all. All three children, 5, 7, and 10yr old look forward to doing their Miquon Math and I am pleased with their progress.

We love the Miquon Math series. My fifth grader used this and is now using the Key to Series. My first grader is currently using the program. I love the use of manipulative and how many operations (+, -, x,/) and fractions are included throughout the text. This is a great program for students who like to figure things out for themselves and do it on their own. The biggest drawback I've experienced is that sometimes the pages "jump ahead" quickly from say single digit work to double digit work. My very math minded son had no trouble with this, but my not so math minded daughter sometimes gets stuck at these jumps. Sometimes we just skip it and move on. Other times I help her through it.

I'm very impressed with Miquon Math series. It is very easy to teach and does a good job keeping the kids interested. Every page is a little different so it doesn't get boring. It incorporates the use of the Cuisenaire Rods which is very helpful for visual learners. I really like how thorough the program is in teaching the different number concepts. The first book alone teaches addition, subtraction, multiplication and fractions. We are very pleased with Miquon Math.
