How do you value a toy? We test for 3 things:

1) We prefer hands-on play to electronic games, and realistic figures over fantasy or today's popular trademarked character.

2) If the toy is not a tool, we are not interested. Knowing that our money is as limited as our time we do not want to invest in something that wastes either.

3) We want the toy to do what it claims to do, do it well, and be sturdy enough to hold up to even the most enthusiastic child. Think that's reasonable? You'd be surprised how many toys fail this simple test!

DUPLO passes all three tests. The simple, realistic figures lend themselves to hours of creative and constructive play. From playing house to laying out a railway track, children develop beginning construction skills, engage in storytelling, and develop social skills as the characters interact, all while continually utilizing a healthy imagination!

DUPLO quality is truly outstanding. The sets we purchased over 20 years ago, we are now bringing back into service as we provide therapy for autistic children and child care at our local church. Surprisingly few pieces have been damaged, despite the wear and tear of decades of hard use. The pieces are just as appealing to the children in our church as they were to our own family 20+ years ago. Dishwasher safe, suitable for hundreds of imaginative situations, DUPLOs have stood the test of time in our family, I am confident they will in yours also.
