Regardless of your personal position on war, it has figured dramatically in the shaping of the USA. If you have a child who loves history, is curious about certain aspects of WWI or WWII, and has little interest in historical fiction, the highly acclaimed Landmark series is for him.

Extremely popular in the 1950s and 1960s, the series is slowly being brought back into print for a whole new generation. The contents of the books are superior to many other children's series with authentic information on American history presented so vividly that children are quickly captivated.

Hailed as the first historical series for kids, only the best award-winning authors were recruited to participate. If you are an avid reader, you'll recognize many of the names.
