Not Quite What I was Hoping For May 31, 2012
Reviewer: Daisy
I bought this for my son, who is almost eight, to encourage him to read. He was captivated by the book, and couldn't put it down, but ultimately, it gave him nightmares. To be fair, he is more sensitive than a lot of children to scary images, etc., but I do think this book would be more suited to ages 10 and up, rather than 8 and up. I realize that in order to tell the story of King Arthur, there is a certain amount of suspense/drama/violence required, but I personally found some of the images to be a bit too intense for our family. If you're a tad on the sensitive side like us, skip over this one.
