Smaller Letters, More Curves
The Kid-O a to z Magnatab lower case is the perfect partner to the Upper Case A to Z Magnatab Magnetic Writing Tablet. With smaller letters and more curves than the upper case, the lower case version will help your children refine their early handwriting skills.

An Ideal Tool to Help Form Letters
A to Z Magnatab is the ideal tool to help your child focus on forming letters correctly and consistently. Your child will eagerly trace each letter with the magnetic stylus just to see and hear the little metal balls snap to the surface to make the letter. Then, to further help him develop a feel for each letter, lightly trace over the letters with the tip of a finger and the metal balls clatter back into the A to Z Magnatab base. One tool, two approaches to teach young children how to write their alphabet.

Innovative Handwriting Tool
Handwriting fluency is fundamental to all areas of education, yet some of the most engaging and intelligent children are challenged with the mechanics of handwriting and fine motor tasks. There are a variety of causes of difficulty with handwriting, but when it is your child that has this problem, the label is not as important as the solution.

Multisensory Techniques Will Help
Handwriting habits are well-established early, so it is important to get it right. Of course the best method for properly mastering this vital skill is through multisensory techniques. But if the idea of writing letters in shaving cream or jello seems to you a gross waste of money, and messy to boot, you will be relieved to know there is another fun and innovative solution. A to Z Magnatab is the ideal tool to help your child focus on forming letters correctly and consistently.

Extremely Safe
All the metal balls are permanently sealed into the A to Z Magnatab base, which means there is no danger of a stray ball being mistaken as finger food. A to Z Magnatab is a generous 11 1/2" x 9 1/4" x 1/2" and is suitable for ages 3+.

We own the uppercase and lowercase magnatabs and love them. All of our children love them actually. A great way to learn and practice forming letters, tracing, and writing. Very fun!

Disappointed July 2, 2014
Reviewer: Danielle C.
I got this as part of the K curriculum package and wanted to love it due to all the raving reviews on several sites. I'm giving it 2 stars purely for the fact that it keeps my 2 & 4yr old entertained, otherwise I would give it 0 stars. It's a great concept but doesn't force the child to form the letters correctly. I feel it doesn't actually teach them anything in the end unless I hoover over them and continually correct, which I can do with real paper and pencil and see much better results at a much lower cost. I'm all for fun ways of teaching normal/boring things, but I don't feel this is beneficial or worth the money.

This is a captivating product. Whenever we have children over, the cannot leave this alone. It seems to really draw children to it. I love that it is so much fun while helping to improve motor skills in my little ones- a win win!
