I'm impressed! |

These puzzles looked wonderful online, but I wondered whether the country-shaped puzzle pieces would stay interlocked or whether it would be a continual frustration. I've been so impressed, though. They really tay in place well. The pieces are coated with a durable material that will stand up to heavy use. My girls (7 and 5) are learning quickly!

My 2.5 year old cannot get enough of the 5 puzzles. He does them efficiently, over and over again. One will often catch him saying: "It is mine", meaning "I want to do it all by my self. Keep out." I highly recommend the puzzles as a learning tool and as a means to work on the fine motor skills.

I purchased the Geopuzzles to add some hands-on fun into our daily learning. Wow! This was a hit! AND not only for my children, but everyone who came into our home when a Geopuzzle was out! You certainly don't need to homeschool nor do you need to be a kid to enjoy it!

We like the way these puzzles pieces each represent a country. Even younger children enjoyed these puzzles. We used these puzzles to help us learn to draw a map of the continents

"Success!" for high tactile learners |

Last year, while studying the continent of Europe, I purchased the Europe Geopuzzle from Timberdoodle. I chose this puzzle because the individual countries of Europe are not simply labeled on the puzzle but cut to the shape of each specific country. This, to me, seemed to shout "Success!" for high tactile learners. I was not disappointed! In our family of seven children, I was teaching four last year. It was not my fifth or fourth graders that learned Europe's countries well, but my second grader. Why? It was she who had been assigned the Geopuzzle during our unit. I was amazed when she began answering my questions about Europe's countries, leaving her older brother and sister in the dust. "Where did you learn these?" I inquired. "From the puzzle, Mom," was her answer. Even though the Geopuzzle had only been assigned occasionally, it was enough to cement Europe in her brain. Thanks, Timberdoodle, for introducing our family to the Geopuzzles.
