Colorful and attractive October 3, 2011

Although these cards come with suggestions for several different games, my kids have only used them as flashcards to learn/practice the states and capitals. I probably could have achieved the same thing by making my own flashcards out of index cards; however, these are more fun to use because they're pretty, shiny and sturdy! Plus, the child can learn the state/capital by shape/sight as well as by name. Kinda pricey for what you get, but I'm still glad I got them.

Great way to learn! October 7, 2010

I love these cards.  THey are a painless way to teach US geography to your children.  They are sturdy bright and colorful.  My kids will sit and read them for fun.  We haven't began any formal teaching of the states and capitals, but I believe that when we are ready, they will pick it up so fast, as they are developing a foundation of knowledge during their play.  It makes me smile to see my six year old holding up a card and saying, "what is the capital of....." to her little sister.  Then she reads her the answer.
