Timberdoodle's review

The earth is a living dynamic planet, constantly in a state of flux. For those of us who relish stability, the rumbles, blasts and eruptions can be unsettling; to children they can be terrifying. Now your child can not only marvel over the massiveness of natural catastrophes, but also learn how to prepare for one.

First Graphics Wild Earth teaches basic earth science as your child learns the sequences of events that lead to earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes and volcanoes. Easy to understand facts along with cross sections, diagrams, and engaging art will inform your child and teach him what he needs to know to ready himself for any of these disasters.

Great early reader January 14, 2013
Reviewer: Homeschool mom
My 8 year old son loves reading graphic novels so I purchased these books for him. He enjoyed reading them. I loved that he was learning science as he was doing his independent reading. Now that he is a better reader, these books seem too easy for him, but I am sure my 5 year old daughter will soon enjoy reading them. I am happy with my purchase and look forward to buying more graphic novels.

Wonderful beginning graphic books!! June 1, 2012
Reviewer: Allison
My sons love these and all the graphic novels Timberdoodle offers. These are especially good for the beginning reader as they do not have as many words as the other graphic novels. Its easy to read, capturing pictures, and just enough information so that your child will be able to tell you what differnt natural disasters are! We love graphic novels!
