Both Girls enjoy June 7, 2016

I have an almost 2 year old and 3 year old and they love playing with this together. We work mostly on separating colors and different animals right now since we just started with it. Several different animals and colors give so many options. Nice sturdy mat that has already had food spilled all over and crumpled up, but you would never be able to tell. The food wiped off easily with a damp cloth.

    Farmland Math November 29, 2015
    Reviewer: Brittany
Farmland math is a great tool to teach my three year old math. The stories are simple, but she likes listening and later making up her own math story problems. It is a great coaching tool in teaching me what concepts my three year old should be learning. We start incorporating these same lessons throughout out day and tell stories about everyday objects and then count them. It did not get 5 stars because at first it was a bit difficult for my toddler to tell the difference between some of the animals. Also, while this is a minor mistake, I received two red horses and I'm missing a red sheep (there should be one of each color for each animal type). Overall, it is a great way to teach simple counting and math! TD Reply: Thanks for the helpful review, Brittany! As a note, after receiving this review, we sent Brittany a new tub of counters. She and her toddler can now solve any challenges that involve a red sheep, and also enjoy their veritable barnyard menagerie.-The Timberdoodle Team

    Farmland Math November 18, 2015

I am so impressed with this set. My then-21-month-old went right for the colorful animals at a homeschool conference, and I could tell she loved them, so I picked up the full set. For awhile, she worked on sorting by color and shape, but now, at only 28 months, she is going right thru the word problems and counting small groups properly. I thought the kit was a little pricey at first, but now that she is advancing so beautifully, I think it's absolutely worth every penny!!

A great tool for building math skills! August 26, 2015

My toddler LOVES these little farm animals. The colors are bright and consistent and the figures themselves are sturdy and well made. He is still a little young for the guide that accompanies it, but I am excited to use it when the time comes. He really enjoys grouping the animals by colors or types and then counting them.
