    This is a great set!

I love this set. It can be used for all kinds of things and used for several years. Starting with learning colors to doing elementry math. My grandkids love using it to learn and love playing with it.

    Great Math Intro!

    Beth

This is such a gentle and fun way to introduce math! Activities are engaging and fun.

    She ASKS to do math!

    Sarah J.

I really love this hands-on math material. My almost-four-year-old daughter is pretty advanced in her counting for the first couple of lessons that start with "1-2-3," BUT I didn't realize she hasn't quite grasped the concepts of "more" and "fewer" yet. I also LOVED the challenging week-4 lesson on patterns. It took her a little while to catch on, so we reinforced the lesson by creating other patterns that she hadn't already done. The counters are sturdy, engaging, and handle her crazy antics as she runs them across the floor before lining them up. I also like that reading the lessons orally to her makes her have to listen to details and order. Good job, Timberdoodle! She genuinely enjoys cracking open math and even asks me to get them down from the shelf. WIN!

    Very Fun

I bought Farmland Math: Town and Farm Edition for my four year old's birthday. It just looked so fun. I like the colorful counters and the workbook with pictures on every page. My boys liked the vehicles and love to arrange them by color.

The best way to start math

    Sara W.

I had never heard of this until we started buying our kids thru Timberdoodle and it’s one of my most favorite things. Our littlest just plays with the figures even. We’ve had the animals for a few years and last year got the autos.

    Such a great tool!

    Alexandra H.

My kids (3 and 4) LOVE this! It's well thought out and helps them learn important concepts in a fun way. They learn math concepts, colors, types of animals/vehicles, and position words (in front of, behind, etc.).

    Best Preschool Math Tool

    Dorothy W.

My son is just not ready for workbooks and needs a much more hands on approach to math. The motor and animal toys for this cirriculum piece are perfect for him. The colors are rich and there is a lot of texture and variety in them as well. The workbook that *does* come with Farmland Math is mostly for the parents and gives helpful activities to do with your little scholar with ever increasing levels of difficulty to keep the student's mind sharp and focused. My son LOVES Farmland Math and I've never come across a better way to start teaching mathematical concepts to preschoolers. Definitely be careful if you have younger toddlers or babies as the pieces can be a choking hazard and there are A LOT of them so it's easy for pieces to go missing. But, on the other hand, because there are so many of them it doesn't ruin the whole thing if you lose a few pieces which is nice as small toys going missing is inevitable with young children. Definitely keep this in your repertoire Timberdoodle.

    Worth it

    Jen

I wasn’t going to get this because it’s pricy but I’m glad I did. It’s worth it. This is a genius way of starting math! There’s animals and vehicles to play with and move around on a map that goes along with the little stories in the book. This is the best kind of learning!
