    Historical paper dolls that Move

    Karolyn B.

Neat concept! Fun for your student to decide if they would like to color them or not. A great addition to your study of World History.

    History Comes Alive

    Vanessa H.

These were a fun addition to our history studies. Necessary, no. But definitely helped the kids to engage in the history they were listening to in order to understand the story of the person they were making. Each book has a figure that is colored and one that is not for each person represented - my two children alternated who did the coloring and who did not on different characters; sometimes they wanted the professionally colored one and sometimes they wanted to color so this worked out perfectly!

    A Favorite History Resource

    Erika S.

This is one of my daughter's favorite parts of history. She gets excited every time she sees one on our checklist for the day. At this point, she's worked through the entire set of the Ancients. The Middle Ages & Renaissance set arrived today I'm pretty sure she's already run off already. My biggest complaint is that there aren't characters to go with each of the ancient cultures we studied.

    High quality, beautifully made

    Elizabeth D.

These are a big hit whenever I have the patience to bring them out! They are sturdy as well as attractive, and I love that there are colored and uncolored options. My advice is to have a large supply of small brads on stand-by, as we always seemed to be out of them when I wanted to pull these out! My students only complaint was that they wished there were MORE characters-e especially girls! It would be nice if they had some "non-famous" characters to fill in the gaps when history lacks figure of note. (For instance, women almost always, and the civilizations of the Indus River and the Americas)

    great but not used

    Bina

We got this for volume 1 and the other versions for volume 2 and we haven't used them yet for history. After we finished volume 1, the kiddos found the books and just started to randomly make them without the lesson. They enjoyed it.

    Great Fun!

    Tasha G.

This was a welcome addition to the story of the world volume 1 books. It was a great way to keep the dialog flowing about what we read and do an interactive project at the same time. My daughter still has her whole collection of history characters and can tell you most of their names and what they did! This one is a win in my book!!!

    Quality Paper Dolls

    Kristen F.

These dolls are great! My daughter loves that it comes with a set of dolls that she can decorate herself along with the already decorated dolls. She loves the fact that the dolls match the stories she is learning in history. The paper the dolls are printed on are well made and sturdy. No rips or tears so far.

    Great tool

    Rachelle

This tool is fun to use. My only complaint is some of the figures are not in the curriculum. My student loves to complete this add on activity.
