Timberdoodle's review

Exploring the History of Medicine
Exploring the History of Medicine takes a look at medical practices from the ancient past to the present, including biographical sketches of famous people of medicine. Black-and-white illustrations and vintage photographs show just how different medicine used to be. And while the illustrations may be black and white, the accounts are quite colorful, resulting in a surprisingly appealing text. Christian families will appreciate the God-honoring perspective presented throughout Exploring the History of Medicine. Featuring study questions at the end of each chapter, coupled with dozens of illustrations, Exploring the History of Medicine gives students a strong introduction into the study of medicine.

More than Swirling, Stirring, Constructing
There is much more to science than poking, prodding, swirling, stirring, creating, or constructing. There is the history behind the science. While most kids would far rather learn with their hands, Master Books has made reading the history of science as painless as possible. And for those of you who like chapter tests, you will be delighted to know that they are included also. Exploring the History of Medicine is suitable for family study and discussion.

This book is great for those who want to be a nurse or a doctor. It is also great  to read just for fun. This book is easy to understand and has lots of interesting information. I enjoyed this book very much! I can't wait to read the others by the same author.
