Do Your Teens Understand Economics?
Everywhere our children turn they hear about the economy, but how many of them know what is meant by that term? How many of us do? The Exploring Economics two-book curriculum contains the vital information your teen needs to understand economics.

Discusses Issues Confronting Families Today
This very readable one-semester high school course gives a clear explanation of the terms and concepts utilized in economics, and discusses economic issues confronting US citizens today. With assignments that require your child to demonstrate both understanding and application of what they have learned, Exploring Economics covers microeconomics (individual or company economics), macroeconomics (national economics), economics in the Old Testament and church history, and economic events in the U.S. up through current events as of the 2016 printing.

Self-Study Course for Teens
Busy moms will be glad to know that Exploring Economics is designed as a self-study course for teens, with seventy-five engaging lessons divided into fifteen units of five lessons each. Each lesson has a student-friendly layout, with options included for a variety of interesting, relevant activities in every unit. In addition, your teen will be directed to read Making Choices: Readings in Economics, an outstanding collection of edited modern and historic articles penned by many brilliant business leaders, historians, journalists, and economic authorities. Both books are illustrated with a plethora of full-color photos, drawings, and illustrations.

Optional Half-Credit in English
Completing the Exploring Economics curriculum will provide your teen with a half-year of high school credit in economics. Exploring Economics can also be used to achieve a half-credit in English, if your teen uses the recommended literature books (we suggest checking them out from the library) and the literary analysis provided in the optional Student Review Pack, plus chooses to do essay writing as his project. Otherwise, the suggested essay questions function as an excellent springboard for discussions around the dinner table or with your community group.

Includes Outstanding Reading Selections
The Exploring Economics curriculum provides both the Exploring Economics textbook and the Making Choices supplemental reading text, each packed with engaging and colorful illustrations. In addition, the optional Student Review Pack is available to provide literary analysis for the optional English component, review questions for each lesson, weekly quizzes, three exams, and an answer key. The Exploring Economics curriculum package is appropriate for high schoolers or anyone else who desires a better grasp of U.S. and global economics.
