Draw the USA teaches children how to draw all 50 states step by step by turning the United States map into a sequence of manageable shapes and connections.
Rather than memorizing isolated state locations, students gradually build the map piece by piece, adding states one at a time until the entire country comes together.
The drawing process helps strengthen geography knowledge while also reinforcing spatial reasoning, visual memory, observation skills, and understanding of how states connect to one another.
Throughout the book, memorable drawing cues and visual associations help children remember state shapes and locations more easily.
Because students create the map themselves rather than tracing it, many children develop a stronger understanding of where states belong and how regions fit together.
Draw the USA works especially well for visual learners and students who learn more effectively through drawing, movement, and repeated practice.
By the end of the book, students move from drawing individual states to sketching the entire United States map from memory.

What a fun way to learn the geography of the USA! Since we lived in another country up until a little while ago, Draw the USA was a great way to introduce my daughter (and her siblings!) to the locations of all 50 states. Using art keeps geography from feeling dry or boring.

My son LOVES this book, he looks forward to drawing the states every week-I am excited to see the end product at the end of the semester. Simple way to draw the USA and learn the states as you go, I recommend if your child is a visual/kinesthetic learner.

Fun, Easy, and Effective

I love this book! It is easy to give them a piece of paper and let them go to town. It is great for tactile learners, young artists, and visual students. It is great for large families as you can use it multiple times per kid and for multiple kids all at one low price. The perfect addition to any geography program!

Such a cool concept

Takes the reader step by step through how to draw every state and connect them to make the whole USA. You don't draw in the book so it can be used by multiple children too!

Great for US geography

We are using this in coordination with the US scrunch map and a book on states, but this book is helping them to remember where the states are and what they look like.

Excellent resouce for education and drawing

Some of my kids were not confident at all about their drawing. In fact, even I was hesitant about using this product because I did not want them to become discouraged. Instead all of us, myself included, enjoyed seeing how each of our pictures turned out. Amazingly, we were all pretty close to each other even if some of the drawings were a little too large or too small.
