Timberdoodle's review

Doodle-document your days!
Doodle Your Day introduces your child to microjournaling: journaling in small bits. With 365 doodle and journaling prompts for your young artists, Doodle Your Day makes microjournaling easy.

One-of-a-kind Illustrated Keepsake
From drawing today’s weather to sketching what made them laugh on International Moment of Laughter Day, kids will love exploring their imagination with such an immense variety of topics. The occasional topics that repeat themselves through the year (what I ate for lunch and what I learned today), will add historical life reference points to this one-of-a-kind illustrated keepsake.

Expand Your Child’s Creative Juices
Not strictly a doodle book, your child will occasionally be encouraged to paste or journal using the “wacky word of the day” in a sentence. Doodle Your Day is an easy, appealing way to expand your child’s creative juices. Ages 8 and older.

If, like our family, you are Christians who are particularly choosy about what you hand off to your children, you will find that a few of these exercises will warrant skipping. Overall, however, this is such an excellent book that we couldn’t resist offering it to you.

Another outstanding component of Timberdoodle's 2017 Sixth-Grade Curriculum Kit!

Cute book October 31, 2016
Reviewer: Malorie Scott from San Angelo, TX United States
My daughter's grandparents got her this book when she was 3. We did not go by the dates. I just did each page when she was interested and I wrote the day we did each page. Three years later, she has just finished this book and it is so cool now. I really hope this is a book that she will keep for a long time, because it perfectly shows her progression from drawing scribbles to writing sentences. I know this book if for older kids, but if you're willing to sit down with your child, it's really awesome for younger kids, too.

Not just for kids! May 25, 2014
Reviewer: Kristen S.
I bought this for myself to use as a modeling example for my son about journaling. I wanted him to see that journaling has many forms, not just written words :) I have had a lot of fun with it and its bringing out the kid in me for sure! I think it would be an awesome gift for anyone.

Doodle Your Day Made Our Day! December 31, 2013
Reviewer: Carole H.
I got 2 of these books, one for my 13yo daughter and one for her girlfriend. They both love them! Where so many of their childish interests seem to be waning these days, this book takes drawing and colouring to a new level. Both are quite artistic, and I hope they both pursue that, but this book takes a light approach and makes it really fun.
