Oodles of mooing, oinking, and quacking doodle to complete and create!
What will you do down on the Doodle Farm? Fascinating farmyard facts to learn and doodles to do. No drawing skills required. Let your imagination run wild.

Purpose-driven drawing
To encourage creativity, we are instructed to provide our children with open-ended art projects. But a stack of paper and a fistful of colored pencils can get monotonous for even the most creative of children. Doodle Books is the ideal solution, a perfect balance between structure and imagination. Every page in the Doodle Books contains a simple line drawing and a suggestion on how to complete the picture. This is a super idea starter for the child who doesn't know what to draw. Your child will enjoy adding his own personal touches and drawings to the pictures on the pages. Each Doodle Book title contains lots of fantastic themed doodles to complete and exciting facts to learn. Now your child can express his imagination and hone his drawing skills.

Fun!! January 26, 2014
Reviewer: Carmen P.
This is a fun little book that is great for ages 5 and up! It offers partial drawings with areas to add a child's own creative touch and embellishments. The book is about 60 pages long offering plenty of opportunity for drawing and creative thinking. We've enjoyed these series as what wasn't finished was put up on the shelf for another child to discover. I recommend these little books, they're super fun and cute.

DOODLE BOOK LESSONS: FUN FACTS AND FANCY ARTWORK January 4, 2012
Reviewer: Shelly from Timberdoodle's Blogger Review Team
The Doodle Farm book is chock-full of farm scene pages that happen to be unfinished.  As children begin to read the books, they are surprised to see that they have to help finish the project!

Jaibrian began "fixing" the pages to "help" the publisher.  She listened to me read the little facts and tidbits about that particular area of the farm, and an explanation of what she needed to draw to complete the picture.

Jaibrian thought this was best thing since sliced bread. She soaked it right up.  She did 3 scenes in one day and promptly brought the book back to me, early Saturday morning, so I could read to her while she drew more scenes.  She is a giggling, precious bundle of joy when this book is in her hands.

I like the interesting farm facts and playful way the information is molded into each lesson. Children can doodle the various animals at the farm, the crops that the farmer grows, help the farmer herd the sheep, put the horns on the bull, and so on...All the while, they don't know they are learning....be we do! :o)

There are more than 100 lively illustrations and that means every page is an easy-to-make lesson at our fingertips.  Children using Doodle Books need no drawing skills, as the books are designed to pique their creativity and encourage them to learn to draw, trace and make likenesses.
