    About the Daily Geography Series:
While most children are fascinated with the study of geography, many teaching parents are discovering that without regular exposure, newly acquired information is not retained. If this is the case with your child, or if your state requires a grade-appropriate geography study, then Daily Geography Practice is what you are looking for.

With just fifteen minutes a day your child will become geographically literate. Each of the lessons is correlated to the National Geography Standards and includes a resource page that consists of a statement of the geography standard and skill being addressed, background information and suggestions for introducing the skill, geography vocabulary and definitions, and an answer key for the lesson.

Your child's page will be made up of two geography questions for each day of the week that progress in difficulty from Monday to Friday and an extra credit challenge question at the end of each week. Short, sweet, and to the point, Daily Geography Practice will assure that your children are geographically astute.

Another outstanding component of Timberdoodle's 2017 Second-Grade Curriculum Kit!

    Daily Geography, Grade 2 January 31, 2017
Reviewer: Austin Stewart, future farmer, age 8
I like how we get to learn about some of the states in America.  I also like how there are different farming things we learn about.  I like how there are world maps.  I like that it is not really hard when you first start it.  I also like that it is daily.

    Daily Geography, Grade 2 January 17, 2017

I love my daily geography book because I can go at my own pace. Sometimes I get ahead because the assignments are not too hard. The maps are fun. I love the map grids the most.

So easy to fit into our day! May 7, 2015
    Reviewer: Sarah C.
I've been worried that we were neglecting learning about our own country as we've been in ancient/medieval history for a couple of years, but my kids are now learning some facts about the United States just by working with these maps every day. The lessons are bite-sized, and my children LOVE them. I've always been a big believer letting living books be the teacher, and I have previously eschewed workbooks for our children. These books have taught me that workbooks don't have to be just busy-work or even tedious at all. These books are the first school work my kids reach for every day!

Good But Not Without It's Challenges March 3, 2015
    Reviewer: MandyJHoffman
I purchased this product for the first complete year I was homeschooling my children. My goal was to get stuff they could do on their own, yet not be DVDs, and this fit the bill. Overall, we have enjoyed it. It's fairly simple and gives short daily portions making it easy to do on a daily basis and catch up if needed all the while not being overwhelming. The downside is that it's not entirely as easy to use as I initially thought. It is created for a classroom setting and does require a bit of a weekly lesson from the teacher to go with this. We have been able to do it without doing the lesson part exactly as suggested, but it still is not always as easy for the student to do without help as I was looking for. The answers are also on the pages with the lesson which makes it a challenge for the kids to reference the lesson and main map each week without seeing the answers. It's mostly grade appropriate w/ a few that seemed a bit harder.

Only wish there were more... January 17, 2015
    Reviewer: Melissa W.
This book has been another highlight to our son's day. He loves being hands on with the maps as he breezes through questions. He will go through an entire week's worth of lessons in one sitting and beg for more! He has really enjoyed taking the learned lessons and skills and applying them to maps and globes around the house and anywhere we happen to visit that has free maps or display.
