This is a wonderful kit; wish there were more reading books in the elite kits. Would have been beneficial to have chapter books. The core subjects and STEM activities are good. Science with experiments would also be beneficial to this age group. Would have liked/ enjoyed more items not in the internet. Art history knowledge would have been great as a book maybe with a dvd.

The curriculum is full of great readings worksheets manipulative and games that makes the days interesting. The curriculum is set up for the child to have repetitive tasks so they can grasp what they are learning.

We are a first-year homeschool family that was looking for something engaging and easy to use. After researching different options, we decided to use the basic non-religious 4th-grade package. I am so pleasantly surprised with how simple it has been for us to make the adjustment. Timberdoodle makes the entire process easy to understand and follow along. They give you everything you need to make your school year pleasant and achievable. When I had a question I sent a message and had an answer the same day. I enjoy that you can purchase extra materials to cover subjects that my child specifically enjoys. Overall, very pleased with our decision.

Timberdoodle is such an amazing and unique homeschooling company. The products included in each kit are just spectacular. The 4th grade kit has so many neat products that focus on all aspects of learning. My 4th grader has ADHD and gets bored with just doing workbooks. The hands-on components in this kit have been a game changer for helping him enjoy learning. Timberdoodle has been amazing for keeping him engaged.

I can see myself using these kits every year. My kids are excited about their kits. They are full of fun games and activities to help enrich their education as well as challenging components my kids all enjoy. These are worth the money imo.

After struggling with homeschooling the past couple years, I decided to try this with my eldest son. The basic is enough to cover all the important parts, and I gleaned a few things from the expanded kits that I thought he'd enjoy. I love the scheduler, which makes it easy for me to determine what he needs to do from week to week. I go with the weekly schedule, as the daily seems a little incomplete? Mostly in that the Mos Dos Ruby units are listed as one checkbox a week, but it's better for us to split it up over several days, and we don't have the available checkboxes for it to show up every day. But this curriculum is great, because it provides my son the opportunity to take ownership of his learning and schedule. It's had mixed results, but I feel it's a fantastic part of the learning process.

I love these sets, they cover all the areas of study for the entire year, even electives! But I wish you could please add literature (reading books), such as a set of the recommended books for each year, even if at a higher price.
