20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Scientist Pierre Aronnax and his trusty servant set sail to hunt a sea monster. With help from Ned Land, the world's greatest harpooner, the men soon discover that the creature is really a high-tech submarine. To keep this secret from being revealed, the sub's leader, Captain Nemo, takes the men hostage. Now each man must decide whether to trust Nemo or try to escape his underwater world.

Gulliverís Travels
Lemuel Gulliver always dreamed of sailing across the seas, but he could never have imagined the places his travels would take him. On the island of Lilliput, tiny creatures no more than six inches tall capture him. In the country of Blefuscu, he is nearly squashed by an army of giants. His adventures could be the greatest tales ever told, if he survives to tell them.

The Time Machine
A scientist invents a machine that he claims will travel through time. His friends, however, laugh at the idea. So the Time Traveler climbs aboard his machine and ends up thousands of years into the future. He meets a race of gentle humans called the Eloi. But the Time Traveler is swept up in a fight for his life against evil underground creatures known as Morlocks. Even worse, his Time Machine, his only chance to escape, is deep inside the Morlock caverns.

The War of the Worlds
In the late 19th century, a strange meteorite crashes down near London, England. When George and other residents of the town investigate, they discover a large alien cylinder. Suddenly, a Martian activates an evil machine and begins destroying everything in its path! Now George must find a way to survive The War of the Worlds.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
This age old tragic story resonates with truths pertaining to man's depravity. Read it, discuss it, and be grateful for the Savior Jekyll didn't know!

My son loves these November 30, 2015
Reviewer: Heather
I won these books from a Timberdoodle giveaway. I gave them to my 8-year-old son and much to my surprise he loved them! I require him to read 20 minutes a day and he willingly read these for well over an hour. After finishing one of the books, he came to me and discussed the ending and how he would have ended the book differently. He's told me several times (unprompted) how much he loves these books and has asked for more. I'm so pleasantly surprised and cannot recommend these highly enough.
