Christian Kids Explore Creation Science
What would it look like to spend a year studying creation science? How would your family be impacted by examining the scientific support for the Genesis creation account and the weakness inherent in the theory of Darwinian evolution? If you consider the Bible the inerrant word of God, this is not a topic that you can put on the back burner and hope that it is adequately addressed through your church’s activities. The world is ruthless in their proclamation that there is no Creator God; we need to be relentless within our families to show them the truth.

Christian Kids Explore Creation Science investigates the foundations of creation science and examines the methods and problems of secular models. The twenty-eight lessons in Explore Creation Science discuss topics such as the age of the earth, evolution, and intelligent design, and include hands-on activities, coloring pages, a supplemental book list, and more. The included Resource CD contains daily lesson plans, all of the reproducibles, materials lists, unit reviews, and a bonus literature study guide. Explore Creation Science is intended for grades four to eight, however activities are included to make it usable for younger students.

One final note: Explore Creation Science makes for a first-class science curriculum. However, if you are looking for a creation-based devotional, we enthusiastically recommend Inspired Evidence, with its daily reminders of the astounding evidence that leads us to worship our Creator.

About the Christian Kids Explore Series
The Christian Kids Explore series contains several thirty- to thirty-five-week courses that are based on a classical and "living books" approach. Each of the straightforward lessons builds upon the last, allowing the child to develop a thorough command of the concepts. The age-appropriate, hands-on activities and experiments are not only fun, but they will actually help your child gain a solid grasp of the concepts. Each book is incredibly user-friendly, supplying suggestions for extra reading and even recommendations of topic-appropriate videos.

Enjoyable and Easy to Use June 30, 2011
Reviewer: Jennifer from Irvine, CA United States
I used this book last year for my 6th and 2nd graders. It worked beautifully for both of them. I read the lessons aloud to them together, and we did the experiments and activities together. I chose supplemental library books for them at their own levels, and their notebook pages were done at their own levels. My only complaint is that the astronomy section is very light, so I ended up puttting together my own unit using library books. However, since I wanted the majority of the year to be spent on earth science, this was only an inconvenience. We will be using Christian Kids Explore Chemistry this year for my now 7th and 3rd graders.

I really like this science curriculum. August 23, 2010
    Reviewer: Alicia
I really like this science curriculum. I especially like that it has hands-on projects at the end of each lesson, because I love hands-on learning. It's also very adaptable for older and younger students, and she includes a great 'extra reading' list. It's a very good and complete book.
