This was the first purchased science curriculum we have ever used. We have always homeschooled and our children were 12, 10, 8, 6,and 4 when we used CKEB. We loved it! There was enough information in each lesson for the older children to really learn some neat stuff but not so much that it overwhelmed the little ones. If you just had an older child he could easily do this on his own, but we like to do science as a family so everyone just worked at their own level while learning the same things. We have since used Christian Kids Explore Chemistry and are now using Christian Kids Explore Earth and Space. This is an incredible series!

Enjoyable, relaxed approach |

Our family enjoyed this science book because it was a relaxed approach with coloring pages to keep young ones occupied, easy experiments, and everything laid out for Mom.
