Fast-Paced And, Yes, Even Wild Word Game To begin, a word is announced that must be a part of each answer; for example, the word "fire." When the sand timer is flipped, the clues come flying. In this case clues may include "People who battle blazes attach hoses to this" (fire hydrant); "Nighttime display of colored sparks and explosives" (fireworks); "Red vehicle with loud siren, hoses, and ladders" (fire truck); and three other phrases. Every correct answer garners one point. With only forty-five seconds to complete your answers, to questions ranging from easy to rather difficult, the game moves quite briskly and can get a bit boisterous, making it an ideal icebreaker. The opposing team has an opportunity to capture any phrases missed. The game ends when one team has fifty points.
