Beethoven Moves In
The arrival of an eccentric boarder turns a young boy's life upside down. Ludwig van Beethoven has moved in upstairs! At first Christoph resents their new tenant but slowly he comes to understand the genius of the man, the torment of his deafness and the beauty of his music. In the end he is won over by the music and true incidents from the great composer's life.

Originally Produced Music
The music, all originally produced, includes excerpts of more than 35 of Beethoven's best-loved works: Symphonies Nos. 5 to 9, the Moonlight and Pathetique Sonatas, Violin "Spring Sonata," Flute Serenade, G+ Sonatina, Minuet in G+, and Fur Elise.

Classical Kids CDs
One of the best ways to remember anything is through a story. You knew that and clearly so did the producers of these Classical Kids CDs.

Great Intro to Classical Music
Winners of many prestigious awards, Classical Kids CDs introduce children to classical music with a gripping story, a dash of history, and some of the world's best-loved classical music.

Engaging and Enjoyable Adventures
Recommended by A Young Scholar's Guide to Composers as a complementary resource, each CD is an engaging, fact-based drama told from a child's point of view. You will find that Classical Kids CDs are not only a painless way to expose your children to classical music, but they present musical adventures your whole family will enjoy.

Education on the go! June 1, 2012

Any CD in this series is a hit! Teaching kids the classics with great kid appeal and everyone wins! My kids can now pick out these songs and name the composers anywhere we go (parks, grocery stores, movies). When traveling we all enjoy listening, and friends ask for them when in our car! Can't beat that! We can now have intelligent conversations with others about which composers we like and don't and why. Bridges the kid/adult gap.

A favorite at our house! May 31, 2012

My pre-k through grade school age kids have loved this CD. It's a great introduction to many, many of Beethoven's pieces (which they now recognize when heard elsewhere) and a really interesting, fun story that includes a lot of real facts about Beethoven's life. We feel as if Beethoven is a dear friend, we've listened to this so many times! We didn't like any of the others in this series, but this was a treasure! You'll love it!

Your kids will know who Beethoven is! October 12, 2010
Reviewer: Carrie Anne from Maine
Our family has thoroughly enjoyed the entire "Classical Kids" series.  Each CD has a story that is interspersed with excerpts from many of the title composers most famous works.  For example, in Beethoven you'll hear some of "Moonlight Sonata", "Ode to Joy" and several of his symphonies.  The story that is told with the music is engaging and gives the listener a good picture of the later years of Beethoven's life, while also being entertaining.  Our children have become quite good at identifying Beethoven's music when they hear it now from having listened to this CD (and watching the movie by the same name that was made based on this story).  This is a great way to study classical music!
