For parents who love to interact with their kids! |

The book is written with the intent that the parent(s) would be involved with their children in the reading as well as doing the activities in this book. Our children absolutely love geography (they are 5 and 7)and are always willing to go on adventures...this books lends itself to both. For those parents who love to interact with their kids and delve into study (and have fun too!) I would highly recommend it and the sister book A Child's geography of Biblical lands.

It only takes about 20 mins each week |

I have a 5th and 2nd grader. We enjoy reading this together once a week on our 'flying carpet', so the review postcards are useful. We split each chapter into two. It only takes about 20 mins each week. I do look out for some of the extra suggested readers from the library to read between lessons. They both look forward to their Geography each Friday.

I like the way the author uses conversational style writing to engage child's interest to geography. Key ideas and new vocabulary are highlighted. Activities suggested at the end of each lesson are very doable and help to bring God's big picture into the study. I really like how it is Christ centered. At the end of each lesson is a list of books for further reading that we can check out from the library if we wish.

What we were waiting for! |

This geography book is exactly what my children and I have been waiting for! It is written from a Christian perspective, giving glory to God, and is easy to read. It is divided into easy to handle sections which help remove all feelings of being overwhelmed. The "Reaching Out to His World" section gives an application for what is learned creating a God glorifying purpose for it.
